Workforce Transportation Pilot Project Updates
Through a 3.2 million dollar Wisconsin Workforce Innovation Grant, a rural transportation ride share program was developed to help employees get to work in Waupaca County. This page will provide Waupaca County employers with current information on the 2022 Workforce Innovation Grant for the Waupaca County Workforce Transportation Project. We began employment rides at the end of 2021.
Recent Activity
Starting January 5, 2026, the Waupaca County Catch-a-ride employment ride-share will be transitioning into the Waupaca County Public Transit Program. Press Release. Web Page
Over the last three years, this pilot program provided over 21,000 completed rides to over 500 different employees and 86 employers in Waupaca County.
