Recreation

The City of Weyauwega has a total of 4 park and
recreation areas, including a 12-acre community park which contains an outdoor swimming
pool. A scenic, 9-hole golf course is located just southwest of the city. Lake
Weyauwega, located on the northeast side of the city, offers a wide range of seasonal
activities. This lake is part of the Waupaca county recreational water system that
has over 240 lakes, 79 rivers and 35 trout streams.
Health
Weyauwega has its own medical clinic, and uses the
services of two hospitals within 12 miles of the city, Waupaca Riverside Hospital and the
New London Family Medical Center. Major health care facilities within 50 miles are
located in Appleton, Neenah, and Stevens Point.
