Highways
U.S. Highway 10, State Highways 22, 49 & 54 and County Highways E & K serve the city of Waupaca.  It is located 4.5 hours from Chicago and 4.5 hours from Minneapolis/St.Paul.

Air Service
The City is served by the Waupaca Municipal Airport, a general aviation airport located 3 miles east of the city. It has lighted runways and is used for charter service and movement.  The nearest scheduled airport is the Outagamie County Regional Airport, located 38 miles southeast of Waupaca, in Appleton.  Austin Straubel International Airport is located 60 miles northeast of the city, in Green Bay.

Railway Service
The City of Waupaca is serviced by the Canadian Northern Railroad.

Foxfire Golf Club is an 18 hole championship golf course that features bent grass fairways, tees and greens, and was nominated by Golf Digest as the best new public golf course of 1997.  There are two beautiful, public beaches, eleven public parks, 2 health clubs, and an indoor ice hockey and exposition center.  Nearby Hartman Creek State Park offers plenty of room to camp, hike and/or cross country ski.

Waupaca has 2 medical clinics and a full service community hospital. There are also dental, chiropractic, podiatry and optometry offices located in the City.  Major health care facilities within 50 miles are located in Appleton, Neenah, and Stevens Point.
